Day 019

Steady Sandoval lied. Francine Duvall was not happy about it. She sat, at the edge of a north border street corner with her hands behind her back, handcuffed up. Her eyes cast down.

A pair of the few, rare, Stereoport Police Officers stood behind her, watching over her. Francine had encountered officers here and there, but they were usually too spooked by the local gangs to do much harm. Even if they had more pull or say than the gangs ever did.

Justice was skewed Stereoport.

So, while the gangs were running rampant, trading territories and scaring people. Francine was getting arrested for having five spray cans in her backpack with the intent on doing up a wall.

A wall, not like any normal wall, but the wall of the volunteer police squad office, which Steady Sandoval said was going to be empty.

Steady lied.
Francine was paying for it.

“It looks like you’ll be spending a night in one of the pens.” A female officer behind her said. “For what?”

“Art,” Francine muttered. It went beyond that, but, she didn’t want to say anything. With the ability to throw her ass over the Stereoport line, even over the Southern Coast line into the Outland America, she didn’t want to threaten them.

The cop smirked.

“Not worth it,” The male cop offered.

Francine just sighed.

Maybe he was right.
